Things you’ll be required:

  1. Aloe vera gel (moisturizing agent) – 2 tablespoons (can be taken directly from the plant or else the readymade Aloe Vera gel can also be used).
  2. Organic raw honey (moisture-sealing agent) – 1 tablespoon.
  3. Extra virgin olive oil – around half tablespoon.

  1. Get the Aloe Vera extract from the plant (a gel like texture), or else you can get the readymade Aloe Vera gel which is easily available in market.
  2. One tablespoon of honey mix it with the Aloe Vera, after that put half tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in that mixture.
  3. Stir all the three ingredients properly and make sure that there is no lump present in the mixture.
  4. Apply the mixture to your face with the help of flat brush, first smother application. Leave it on to your face for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes rinse your face and pat dry with a towel. Repeat this to twice a week and for a better result continue this for at least two months.

For sensitive skin type

For all my diva’s out there those who are sensitive skin type, I assure you Aloe Vera is going to be one of the best beauty product you could have ever used. Girls who suffer from skin burning or skin inflammation after using any new product, you can use this face mask without the fear of triggering acne. Aloe Vera gel helps calm burning sensation of the skin caused by acne or other pimple related issues. Papaya contains the pain enzyme, which has rejuvenating and soothing properties in it.

Things you’ll be required:

  1. Aloe Vera gel (anti-inflammatory properties) – 2 tablespoons.
  2. Papaya pulp (curative agent) – 1 tablespoon.

  1. Blend 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel with 1 tablespoon of papaya pulp in a mixing bowl.
  2. Wash your face and pat it dry.
  3. Apply the paste on your face and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse it off with normal water.
  4. Apply this mixture in your face once or twice in a week for better results.

For Oily Skin Face type

For all my Diva’s out there who feel like their skin is extremely oily, the reason behind it is your sebaceous gland in your skin which start producing excessive oil which is called sebum. This makes your skin look greasy and oily. It also contributes to blocked pores and breakouts. Aloe Vera gel has tonic like property which help in making a barrier for excessive oil production and maintain a healthy level of oil secretion. This method also uses fuller’s earth (commonly known as multani mitti) and rose water, both the product helps in removing excessive dirt and oil from your skin.

Things you’ll need:

  1. Aloe Vera gel – 1 teaspoon (either you can get directly from the plant or else readymade Aloe Vera gel is also available in market).
  2. Fuller’s earth (multani mitti controls excessive oil production in your skin) – 1 tablespoon.
  3. Rose water (cleanses the skin) – use of sufficient amount of rose water to make it a paste like texture.

  1. Pour 1 teaspoonful of Aloe Vera gel into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of multani mitti to it.
  3. Drip enough rose water into the mixture to make a non-runny paste. Blend the ingredients well.
  4. Apply the paste to your clean and dry face. Let it sit onto your face until it dries, then rinse it off with normal water.
  5. Use this face mask once or twice a week.

P.S.- All this homemade DIY mask contains natural ingredients which would never harm your face in anyway. Though the result may not be very surprising and visible overnight but you will have to use it on a regular basis for a better result.
